Wordless Wednesdays - Parents as Teachers

D and I participate in a local program through the school districts called Parents as Teachers. Starting when you kiddo is born, they come to your house every 6-8 weeks and provide milestones, good toys/games/books to play with and in general answer any questions you might have. This is especially useful when you are in-between doctor appointments and have questions that don't warrant a call to the doctor, but you'd like to get answered. And of course, it's always nice to hear how advanced your kiddo is in terms of milestones :) Our PAT person, Jennifer, has become a good friend and Dylan absolutely loves her!! Another great thing with PAT is they have cool events that you can attend. This past weekend we went on a tour of a fire station. D loved the trucks but was a bit scared when the firefighter put on all of this gear. Last night we went to a "Taste of Toddlerhood" event where we met up with Kylie and Jody Stump and did some "cooking". It's a great program, and for any of you Kansans with little ones, I highly recommend looking into it!!

Not related to PAT, its crazy hair day at D's daycare today. Check out the spiked action I sent him to school with :) I actually think it's pretty cute!!

Finally, for those of you who didn't believe me about having multiple posts last week, check out the Wordless Wednesdays from last week about all the trips D and I have taken in 2 short years! It's one of my new faves!

  1. OMG... I love the hair!! Think that should be Dylans new style.
Thanks for all the post the past few weeks... love seeing all the pictures.
    All our love,

  2. You should send this post to the PAT folks. The program is fabulous, and they probably could use the endorsement when the school board looks at budgets. We need more programs like this in our schools.

    Great hair!

  3. Ditto, I LOVE the PAT program!!! And the posts and my adorable nephew! :)
