Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

We are digging out of the snow that has been piling on since early this morning!  We stayed at my parents' house last night, so Dylan could play with Papa while I got some work done!  Notice how D insisted on wearing his ski helmet while he shoveled :)

Happy Birthday Maggie & Happy Valentine's Day!!!

A huge happy birthday to Maggie who turned 3 yesterday!!  Her official birthday tribute will come next week after her party at the zoo :)

And Happy Valentine's Day!!!  D was pretty pumped for his school party today...especially that we signed up to bring chocolate milk...tonight should be interesting after a day full of candy!!

Papa and Namma got Dylan a valentine that lights up and plays "Twist and Shout"...we've listened to it about a million times, and will likely get to answer that question of, do these ever run out of battery??

D picked out car valentines that you can scratch off and it becomes a hologram...basically the lottery ticket of valentines :)

In his, "the ladies love me!" shirt :)

Happy Birthday Ella!!!!

Ella, happy 5th birthday!!  I can't believe that you are already 5 years old!  On that note, I can barely remember life without you being a part of it!  You still amaze me daily with your sweetness and intelligence!!  I can't believe how perceptive you are at such a young age!  And you are always so willing to set a great example for your cousin and sister.  Thank you for being such an incredible niece!  I can't wait to see where this next year takes you!

We celebrated Ella's birthday this past weekend!  We headed to the Great Wolfe Lodge in the morning, T-Rex for lunch and Craig Street for dinner!  We had a great time celebrating Ella :)

With the cake pops Namma and I made...I made them differently this time and thought they were very tasty!  We did have a couple of "mishaps" that left Namma and I in tears from laughter...but the good news is, even the "family cake" tastes good!

The pinata that Brigid gave Ella for her birthday was a huge hit!  The kiddos, especially Dylan, loved getting to swing a bat at something!  And all of the prizes inside were so cool!!

On another note, D's preschool is doing a coin drive for kiddos with blood diseases (most commonly leukemia).  D informed me that he wanted to donate all the money from his piggy bank.  He also received some money for Valentine's Day and my heart nearly burst with pride when we opened up his Valentine and Dylan said he wanted to give it to the kids who are sick and can't afford medicine!  Papa took it to the bank to turn it into quarters and D was so proud of filling up his bank to take to school.
