We had another great and fun filled week :) Corporate challenge has officially kicked off, so it will continue to be busy!
Lars came over for dinner last week...we had a great time playing soccer!!
Flag football!! We had three games on Friday night and then Vicki and I ran a 5K on Saturday morning...needless to say, I was sore the rest of the weekend!
While I was playing football, Papa took care of D! Dylan very nicely asked Papa to take him to the golf store so of course he did!
On Saturday night, we headed down to Vicki's house for her surprise 40th birthday party!! They live about 45 minutes south of us and have an awesome house! There is a ton of space, a pond and all sorts of fun outdoor activities. D had a BLAST!!!! I'm sure we'll spend quite a bit of time there as D grows up :)
Frisbee!
Frog hunting!!
Skipping rocks!
Say cheese!!
Tree climbing!
Picnic time!!
On Sunday, we planned to go to the zoo but the weather had something else in mind! We headed to Monkey Business (the place where Grandma Toni and Grandpa Karl took D)! When I went to look up directions on the computer, D told me I should just call Grandma Toni because she knew the way :)
After the bounce house, we headed to cosmic mini-golf! D continues to be obsessed with golfing and even got a hole in one!! He also won free golf on the "19th" hole where if you make it you get to come back for free! The lady working there even said that nobody usually made it!!
Hole in one!! The hole had an obstacle where you were supposed to hit it through the middle and down to the other end. D actually somehow managed to go around the obstacle and hit it hard enough that it bounced around until it went in! He was SO excited!
We headed to Craig Street for dinner...the storms continued and there was even a tornado warning! We introduced the kiddos to some old school Mario Kart!
Nice pictures. Happy Mother's Day! You are a great mom.
