But first...the promised pictures from Easter weekend...
As I mentioned last week, D and I attended our first gender reveal party for JoAnne on Saturday in Des Moines. JoAnne decided to let Quentin eat the first cupcake (the middle was filled with either blue or pink icing to reveal what they are having). Of course, Q immediately started licking the icing from the cupcake...finally JoAnne couldn't take it anymore and opened the cupcake revealing they are having another little boy. It was a super fun party that also included an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos!! We have so much fun with the Turner/Morano fams and it was great to see them all!!
Team Pink
We all wore pink/blue depending on if we thought it was a girl or boy. I actually thought it was a boy, but D wanted me to wear pink to match him.
playing the kinect...it was super fun!
While we were living it up in the Big Easy, Grandma Toni and Grandpa Karl came to KC to play with Dylan. They had a great time and we can't wait for them to come visit again soon!!
And now, a few bonus pics from Grandma Toni's camera from D's Chicago birthday party and NiNi's bridal shower.

Just get to the middle already...
The other highlight of the gender reveal party was that I got to meet Sarah and Jeremy's twins: Jackson (left) and Wyatt (right). They were as cute as could be and Sarah and Jeremy are doing great!!

Popped collars :)
After a nap at my parents' house, D and I headed to a friend's house for some Easter egg dying and air hockey fun. We had a blast :)

I went back over to Sarah's on Saturday night to see the twins again!! I just can't get enough!!
On Sunday, my mom, Dylan and I went to church. On the way back, we stopped at the park to literally smell the flowers :)
Playing frisbee with Namma!
Playing pool balls with papa!
What trip is complete without golf?!?
Last Thursday, we had Dylan's three year doctor appointment. D continues to develop and grow perfectly!! He is up to the 70th percentile for both height (38 1/2 inches) and weight (33 1/2 pounds)!! (for reference at his 2 1/2 year appointment, D was at the 40th percentile for weight and 60th percentile for height). He does such a great job at the doctor and it's so nice to be able to discuss going to the doctor beforehand and having him actually be excited for it!!
Lunch at "Old McDonalds" after the doctor with mommy :)
Last weekend, Andrea and I headed to New Orleans for Aunt NiNi's bachelorette party!! We had an amazing weekend!! It was so much fun going out to celebrate Nicki's upcoming wedding!!
Let's just say that all of the stories from the weekend are not blog appropriate...but I will leave you with my three favorite quotes of the weekend!
1. "Fun drunk Andrea lives!!!!"
-Andrea after a night of partying!!
2. "I have good news and bad news...the good news is we have your fiancé. The bad news is we lost your sister!"
-Andrea on the phone with Chris regarding NiNi and Chris' sister Lindsay. Lindsay brought her "A" game and wanted to stay out much later than the rest of us...luckily Liz was willing to hang while the rest of us went home!
3. "Louisiana is known for having the best fried chicken in a gas station anywhere!"
-Random dude walking into a gas station to buy said "famous" fried chicken!

Andrea loves wearing her Hawaiian shirt to parties...I made lots of fun of her, until I realized she brought one for me to wear as well :)
Beignets at Cafe Du Monde (Piper and I covered in powdered sugar b/c it was so windy!)
